OUR STORY

Rooted in over two decades of hands-on experience, our story is one of strategic evolution, creative leadership, and transformational branding.

Since 1996, we’ve been shaping marketing strategies with precision and purpose—bridging local authenticity and global relevance. With seven years of dedicated international branding experience and co-creation of the MyNewBrand initiative, our foundation is built on both depth and reach. The launch of the Performance Neuro-Branding School further expanded our impact, offering a structured, cognitive approach to branding that merges science, behavior, and business performance.

Over the years, we’ve contributed to the creation and activation of more than 120 living brands worldwide—each shaped to perform in dynamic, multicultural environments. These include independent ventures, partner brands, and client engagements, all guided by our commitment to meaningful visibility, cultural intelligence, and strategic precision.

The PITEA brand and group were born from this journey in 2003—as a platform for premium brand delivery, expert support, and systemic design thinking. At the heart of it is Marija Komatar, the driving force behind our methodology and brand philosophy. Her work bridges strategic marketing, creative direction, and behavioral insight—transforming brands into cognitive systems that endure, influence, and perform.

In the past decade, our scope has expanded to include business development, creative team formation, and innovation leadership, supported by a strong foundation in performance marketing, research, event strategy, and cross-sector collaboration.

ABOUT PITEA BRAND AND ITS MEANING

The letter П (Pi) holds layered significance—both historical and symbolic. In ancient times, it was seen as a gateway—the architectural shape of an entrance to a temple or city, such as the iconic Lion Gate of Mycenae. To the Greeks, it represented the threshold into civilization, culture, and higher knowledge.

Simultaneously, π (Pi) is known as the fundamental mathematical constant expressing the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter—an enduring symbol of precision, continuity, and universal structure. From Pythagoras to Archimedes, π has bridged geometry, philosophy, and science across centuries.

At PITEA, this dual meaning is central to our identity. We stand at the intersection of structure and creativity, logic and culture—opening gateways to ideas, systems, and brands that endure.

We also honor this legacy every year on Pi Day (March 14)—celebrating the harmony of reason, rhythm, and renewal that defines both the constant and the arrival of spring.
